Quotations with an Attitude

Compiled by Roy Halliday

Most of the quotations in this collection express opinions, attitudes, truths, or half-truths that I agree with. These are often irreverent or politically incorrect. Many if them used to be commonplace and are now unfashionable. Ideas that are in vogue are underrepresented in this collection, even when I agree with them.

Intermixed with the quotations that reflect my attitude are a few others that I like because they make me laugh or because I find it ironic or revealing that they were expressed by a particular individual. I leave it as an exercise for the reader to determine in which category each quotation belongs.

I hope you enjoy them.
